Asked by Eli_1986 Aug 12, 2018 at 04:10 PM about the 1996 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD Stepside SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 96 Ford F-150 is leaking water when it
gets really hot outside? I haven’t driven it in
3 days so the nothing has been turned on.
No a/c no engine. Nothing. And it just drips
water...any ideas?

Probably a leaky radiator or hose. You can get a radiator tester for free at an auto parts store. Apply the proper cap, attach the pump, and inflate to about 12 pounds on the gauge. You'll see where the water is coming from big time.
