Cork valve cover gaskets?

Witch is better cork or whatever else they make them out of ? Just wondering

There is corked rubber or a rubber steel reinforced valve cover gaskets available. The Steel reinforced is more expensive, and an be reused where the cork gasket is a one time use.

I am not a big fan of cork gaskets but they will work if you are careful not to over tighten them.
