Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my tensioner pulley break...Replaced it & now
when I start it, it has hardly any compression  & it
dies shortly after...The only thing I noticed is my
crankshaft pulley has alot of play in it & my tension
pulley is bouncing...

If you ran a compression test, what were the readings? Is the crank pulley loose or is the front of the crank loose? 4.6 engine? Miles?

Is the harmonic balancer coming apart? If so, when running you should be able to hear it as a rattle. The tensioner should not affect compression.
