97 Ford f150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck runs like a charm when she wants
to except last night I was getting gas went to
take off and I heard an awful noise so I
turned it off as the noise continued to go I
pop the hood and seen my alternator and my
fan still rotating. I disconnected the ground
to stop everything. Reconnected and then it
wouldn't start. Fiddled with the wires and it
started again. There was a Killswitch
installed by the previous owner which I
bypassed to an original ignition start. It was
running great again today until I needed it to
start to go to work and it didn't start. It
seems like the issue is my battery but there's
a good charge.  Brand new battery,
alternator, starter. Any suggestions?
