1997 Ford F150

Asked by 97f150 Feb 07, 2019 at 01:48 PM about the 1997 Ford F-150 Lariat LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Ford F150. New battery, new Alternator, no
blown fuses. I try to crank, nothing. No clicks, no skin
crawling sounds, there is also no power anywhere. No
headlights, no dome lights, nothing. Any insights?

Is there a way to check it without having to go through the trouble of removing it?

Ed you beat me to it. I was also going to say, check battery connections, all of them, positive and negative. Use test light to check voltage at fuses, some go hot with key on, some are hot all the time.

Locate the main fuse box under the hood. Check for voltage going into the box.
