Is there voltage to the coil with the key in the "on" position?

yes there is power to the coil with the key turned on where is the crank positioning sensor?

Crankshaft sensor should be down and front of crankshaft mounted on timing chain cover

Since the coil is new, lets assume it is good and not bad out of the box. Have you tested the new coil to determine if you are getting a switching signal from the ICM? Check the net for how to check for switching signal, to long to explain here.

turning over but not getting spark to the plugs still after i just replaced the camshaft sensor

Have you tested the coil pack with an HEI spark detector? The tester is only about 15 bucks and looks like a spark plug. You can use the tester directly on the coil pack. This will go a long way in figuring out the problem. If you get no spark via the tester on both towers then the problem could be with wiring or connections or problems with the PCM. You have to determine if you are getting a switching signal from the computer.

i have an HEI spark detector and i checked it and there is no spark i did find a short in the wiring which i believe couldve caused all of this there was a wire melted and grounding out on my exhaust which was causing my PCM fuse to blow i fixed that and so far every fuse and sensor that that wire is connected to has been blown could that short have blown my PCM?

If it's coming out of the pcm yes, not if it's going into it. Are all fuses good now?

all fuses and sensors are good now and the wire that melted comes out of my pcm then to transmission i think going to check all the fuses again just to be sure

About all you can do to check the PCM is to check if you have power going to it and a good ground. That does not check the functions of the PCM to determined if they have been zapped. OBD codes 600 through 610 COULD indicate a fault with the PCM. Unfortunately, to check every function of the PCM it has to be connected to a simulator which will check each and every function. Auto parts stores cannot do this.

good news thanks to a friend at a parts store im gonna get a new pcm really cheap so i will replace my pcm with new one and update after thanks everybody for the help so far

YOu'll have to find someone to program it for you. It's not plug and play, but do let us know.
