Why will my right turn signal not work?

Asked by Jyakus Nov 25, 2014 at 04:32 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The right, rear turn signal light on my 2002 Chevy Cavalier will not work. I replaced with a brand new bulb. Still will not work. The front works fine (blinks fast).

I don't know if it's a fuse or if the unit that holds the bulb is bad. It gets really hot and I noticed melting once.

Please advise your expertise.
Thank you.

I think it is in the bulb socket it self, make sure you have the right bulb all so.
