Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My starter had gone out in my 2002 Chevy Cav 2.2L. I had bought a new
starter and tried to have it put in, i was told that i needed a bottom or side
mount instead of the one that i had bought. Im curious as to what to look
for while trying to find the correct starter. The part number i bought was a
WPS/Power Select WAI 6493N.
Please help!!
Thank you!

Just take your old one in and match it up. They charge you core charge for them anyway.
