what do i have to change on a 98 lincoln town car 4.6 so i can put it in my 98 f150

All depends on what size the engine is in your truck.

It should bolt in but you may need to change out the ECU with the engine.

Keep in mind this engine will fit between the frame rails how ever you will nee to do some metal fab work to attach the engine mounts to the frame.A lot of effort also the exhaust /electrical/transmission,its recommend to use those components from there you will need to make a new drive shaft up as well.This will work .
