Battery drain

I HAVE A DRAINAGE PROBLEM WITH THE CAR OFF,I DID SOME TESTS WITH A MULTIMETER WHICH READ 01.58 mv SO I PULLED EACH FUSE ONE AT A TIME TO SEE WHERE THE PROBLEM IS WHAT I FOUND WAS WHEN I PULLED THE 10 AMP CLUSTER FUSE IT DROPPED DOWN TO 00.18 mv ANY IDEAS ON WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?,I DID BUY THE CAR BRAND NEW AND HAD THE DEALER PUT IN A AFTERMARKET ALARM SYSTEM,COULD THE ALARM SYSTEM HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT SHOULD I DICONNECT IT?.

01.58 mV? Millivolt? that is miniscule. That is 1.58 thousandth of a volt or 0.00158 volts A car clock draws 0.02 amps@13volts. Suggest you set your multi-meter on amperage, in the 12 volt range and check again

it was set to DC in the 10 amp range and yes its set at MILIVOLTS I don't know what else to set the meter at everything else is either for AC or continuity,i watched a video online and I did everything that's performed on the video in reference to the meter.

sorry I must gave in the wrong info,im using a IDEAL 61-340 multimeter,the red lead is plugged into the 10a port and the dial is set to mA and its in the DC mode.is this correct?.

DC yes. mV no. You would have to get a reading of 1000 mV to equal one (1) volt.. Does the dial not have a voltage setting?

AC Voltage is (V~) and DC is V, with a symbol I can't create..second one from bottom left for DC The image shows 120Volts AC..household current Black wire goes in COM...ground...2nd from left,..... red wire far right
