Asked by Dane Mar 11, 2018 at 11:03 AM about the 1999 Ford F-150 XL Extended Cab Stepside SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After I put it on jumper cables as long
as I'm going over for Grand RPM it'll
show charging if not it will not show
charging and then the truck dies and
then I put it back on jumper cables for
a minute and then take off again and
put it get it up to 4 gran RPM obviously
the batteries not holding a charge but
why doesn't it show charging until I'm
over for Grand is that mean the
alternator is weak or is it a such thing
as a voltage regulator
