02 cavalier doesnt even try to start when key is turned

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have an 02 cavalier 200k miles. Tried to start it. absolutely nothing, no
crank no nothing. Initially 3 mos ago i thought it was the ignition switch. I
replaced it and it ran like a dream. I let it sit for two weeks and its back at it
again. Battery is charged and ready to go. Replaced the ignition switch
again, and this time it did not work. I turn the key and theres nothing. No
crank no anything? am i missing a cable? totally lost. Thank you in advance

assure that your battery is fresh and has at least 12.5 volts...connections are corrosion free and the cable to the motor block is there and has a solid connection~ Fresh battery, fresh or clean cables and we should be okay~ you might be a RECALL ignition switch...will have to check on that~!
also, all lights and radio work!

grounding of the chassis~ you could test with a multi-meter...often grounds get "grey" and do not connect as they should leading to dim bulbs (please) and instruments not working properly~ perhaps the igntion switch uses this ground~ yes...I'm taking this opportunity to display all my artworks...it won't hurt a bit~
