truck cranks but does not start? what is there to check on fuel problems?

Truck has had this problem before. It will not start when you  crank it over. Sounds fine. But will not fire. Started 6 mths ago will do it sporadicly. Once in a great while. Usualy set a feew hours and starts. But has not started for 3 days now.

Chec for spark at plug wires as engine is spinning over, if it is sparking, shoot starting fluid into the air intake to find out if it fires. that should point you in the right direction, spark, or fuel.
