Brake pedal goes to floor
Asked by Gary Jul 27, 2018 at 09:45 AM about the 2000 Ford F-150 Work Extended Cab SB
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Replaced the m/c brake lights keep coming
on. I'm thinking brake booster is leaking.
Truck is 18 years old. No leaks anywhere
fluid still high in m/c not going down.

Did you bleed the brakes properly. Booster should not cause this.
You also have to bleed the master cylinder, just cannot fill it up with fluid and install. If bleeding of brakes lines and master cylinder was correct, suspect faulty master cylinder.

Check for loose wheel / hub bearings if one or both are loose will cause brake pedal to go to floor.
we changed all brake pads calpiers rotors and bleed the brakes and no pedal
