Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2000 f150 5.4.  My dad has a 2010 5.4 but his
engine has way more power. My truck just doesnt have that
excitement of a v8.  Is it possible to put a 2010 motor in a
2000 f150.  Or is there a motor that'll put out more power or
equal to a 2010.  I just wanna be able to give it gas and feel
it accelerate. I have to mat it to the ground to get any real
power out of it.
