The Ford F150 4.2 V6 engine firing order is sequential: 1-6-5-4-3-2. The cylinder arrangement for this model is 1-3 on the driver’s side, 4-6 on the passenger’s side.

If your sure you have the firing order right, then run a compression test, if the compression is good then it could be a bad coil or and injector.
