Tailights, brake lights and license plate lights fuse location

Asked by Solomon Jun 15, 2017 at 09:21 PM about the 2000 Ford F-150 XLT LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've searched a lot through google lookin for the simple
info of which fuse needs to be replaced for the 3 lights
above, I know they're all on the same circuit. Thanks.

The tail lights and licence plate lights are on the same circuit. The brake lights however are on a seperate fuse. I suspect your turn signals are also out. The harness for the lights runs along the frame on the drivers side. It often gets damaged. Also check the connector and ground. These tend to fill up with water and road gunk. Causing them to corrode and fall apart. The Ground is a ring terminal that is attached to the frame.
