sounds like the ground connection is not substantial...clean the black cable as it attaches to the frame...will be the key to illumination~

The orange wire is a fuse wire. It is used in running lights. It's small Gage, small enough to fuse, pop the wire in a surge situation to protect the device. I'm no expert but I have a 2007 cutaway. I haveI have had problems with the top lights but I've had problems with the other ones, tail and license plate light. I think that they run this fuse wire so that if one of the lights pops that the other ones will stay on but I could be wrong. all I know is I found this orange wire marked fuse up in the insid e of the box and I'm wondering what it is so I did some research and this is what I found. There's also a fuse at the bottom underneath the bumper on both the brown, and also on the orange fuse wire.
