I bought a 2001 f150 4x4 4.2L manual trans with
ecm missing. How do l find the correct
replacement ecm

Look online. If you supply the VIN you should get the correct part. You could also check with Ford.

Check with your local Ford dealership's parts department. They should be able to get you a part number and price from your VIN number.
