ac and heat stopped working

ac charged and not leaking compressor running. no leaks in heater core blower works on all speeds temp controler works as when turned to cold it does get a little colder and when turned to warm it gets a little warmer, but not like normal

there may be a problem with the temp. blend door or the actuator that controls it.
The blend door is not fully opening and closing properly. I'm not sure about your model, but on some you may be able to get to the lever under the dash to manually move the door all the way or the other. On the explorer of that year there is an actuator motor which moves the door open and closed. They are of cheapo plastic construction and the teeth on the gear tend to break.
Heater blows heat for 45 seconds then warm air if I switch to AC it warm?
