Plastic Intake Manifold

I own a 2002 Ford F-150 V6 truck.  A month ago I observed a PCM codes P0174 and P0171 (Lean Codes). Took it to the Ford dealership for repai and now will cost me $1,400 to repair and replace the Plastic Intake Manifold due to leak.
I found out that there was a litigation on this issue.  Is my truck under this litigation? Do you have any idea how to claim part of the repair I believe around $735 that Ford will shoulder for the repair?
