How to fix my transmmission problem?

I have a 03 ford f150 5.4 and I'm having trouble it drives
fine until I get up to 3 gear then rpm jump like it's not in
gear I tried to turn off od but it kicks back on when I hit 3
gear I have tested all fuses changed relays speed censor
on trans .help

It sounds like the overdrive is not engaging. Most times it's the overdrive band is burnt or cracked. Maybe even the torque convertor. This means you have to open the transmission up and replace the parts, which means you'll have to find a shop to perform a rebuild, which is a $2 to $3K thousand.
