swapping gauges

i own a 2003 f150 5.4 2v...i bought a set of
mechanical gauges for looks and because im
getting a different style of dash.  i was wondering if
my engine would run correctly without the readings
of the water temp and oil pressure to the ecu.  and
if not are there any bypasses i could purchase. any
advice is appreciated.

I am pretty sure the ECU gets it's data from the engine, not the dash gauges. Check with the gauge manufacturer for advice and other questions. They probably have a FAQ and a contact e-mail.
