My 2003 ford f150 wont start

Asked by Danielsm2316 Oct 26, 2017 at 12:09 AM about the 2003 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 ford f150 wont start after putting cheap gas. It
just wouldnt turn on anymore. So i decided to hit the tank
with a mallot but still wouldnt start. I waited for a hour nd
tried it again then it fired up. But as soon as i got home
shut off. I tried turning it back on nd it wouldnt start again.
So i decided to check the fuses but they were all good.
Then i checked fuel pressure and it only got to 10 psi the
furst time. Then on the second time i tested it got to 30 psi.
So what can be my problem? I also tried to look for fuel
pump module but i think this year of car doesnt have one.
Im thinking its my fuel pump. What else can i check for?

If your fuel pressure is changing from the specs, suspect a bad fuel pump. Pressure should remain stable.
