Why is my truck running lean?

I have a 2003 F-150 with a 4.6 V-8. I keep getting a
lean code for bank one and two. Also when I am on
the highway and try to pass, drop a gear. My RPM
goes to 3000 no power. I am out of options. Any
ideas?

Lots of things Bad fuel pump low pressure. Vacuum leaks. Bad mass air flow sensor. Bad oxygen sensor, clogged fuel filter or clogged injectors.
