fan will not shut off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The interior blower (fan) in my 2002 Chevy Impala does not shut off, even
when the key is turned off. I can get it to shut off sometimes on 5, but not
really sure what the trick is, it just does. Even when it does shut off, it comes
back on automatically when the key is turned - and stays running. The AC
does turn off when it's on off.

This would be the blower motor resistor causing this.
