I HAVE A 2003 FORD F-150 XLT AND WENT TO GET THE VIN CHECKED AT THE POLICE STATION AND THEY SAID THE VIN ON THE DASH IS THERE BUT NO DOOR VIN AND COULD NOT FIND ONE UNDER HOOD IS THERE ANY OTHER LOCATION TO FIND THE NUMBER ON THE TRUCK ?

have the original window sticker from the dealer the original title even the old owners name and info but without another number on the truck i`m dead in the water

i think there is another one welded to the front of the bed between bed and cab

I would ask a Ford dealer for the locations or find a contact that the police can call for information.
