Can I change the engine on my f150 2004 from my expedition 2010 they both have 5.4

I have a 2004 f150 with a 5.4 engine but I noticed
that is the 2005 engine why I have in my 2004.
I want to swap the engine from my expedition
2010 it also has the 5.4 but it’s a lot more
economical.
Would it work ?or I’ll be making a big mistake ?
