Question type: Maintenance & Repair

removed new starter and benched tested the starter. works just fine. reinstalled and does the same only one click. I have power to solenoid when key turns to start. and direct power from battery. I thought my engine seized but it turns easily manually. battery is fine. no corrosion.

Sounds like a bad ground remove and clean ground terminal on battery also check battery ground wire going to vehicles chassis.
