How many miles have you put on it? I have a 2004 crown vic and recently had a little bit of transmission slip but not as bad as what you were saying but I did some research and decided to change the filter and oil and then I put in some locus oil and it seems to be working fine now. I think your supposed to change it every 30k mi.
