Battery drain overnight

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My truck has been draining overnight for the
last couple months so I already replaced the
alternator battery and instrument cluster, but
the local shop also diagnosed the stereo
pulling too so I pulled the fuse and it started
the next morning. How can I determine if it’s
in the wiring or in the stereo itself?

Parasitic drain. Check the net on how to check for. Since you know the circuit, should be fairly easy. Here is your dilemma. Checking the wiring is easy. If you see no problem there, removing the radio and having the radio bench tested will cost more than a new radio.
Parasitic drain , the cause is explained in this listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2014-Ford-F150-F- 150-Instrument-Cluster-Repair-Dash-Light-Staying- on-fix-/292931561061
thank you "G". i think this is what's happening to mine. according to the info in that link, the issues they post is exactly what mine is doing.
No problem Sean, thanks for your business, its greatly appreciated.
BTW, the item relists with a different item number and URL, it is easier to search through the items I have listed rather than to keep reposting here and making a nuisance of myself. https://www.ebay.com/sch/newyorkbuyer/m.html
Check this simple little part before tearing into your truck
i have found a 200 milliamp drain through the memory circuits of the body module is called a GEM module it controls alot in different models So to find out you have to find the 10 amp fuse and pull it at night and see. If in the morning if the battery is still alive Because the GEM is hard to find or obsolete.i build a fuse by pass switch that you turn on when you get in and turn of when you get out of the vehicle for more than 12 hours by pulling the fuse you are turning off your dome lighs and windows this repair is working very well on all the fords the memory fuse is in the fuse box in side the cab under dash.I am an old master mechanic that is still working on cars. 40.years now .Therefore maybe I can help. billdunlap777@hotmail.com
