Ignition Problem

2005 Ford F150 5.4 Triton Engine. Ignition is on
without the key.

Pull the - batt cable if you're worried , is the whole lock tumbler loose or worn ?

I disconnected the battery terminal and the key switch tumbler from the connector and the ignition still stays on after reconnecting the battery terminals.
