The bell that warns you that you left your headlights on isn't working on my 2002
Suburban. I'm guessing it might have been disabled by the previous owner. Anyone know
how to trouble shoot the problem?
Does your Chevy have the original radio? My 2002 Pontiac makes warning chimes through the radio and it sounds from the drivers door speaker. If an after market radio is installed without the correct harness, the warning sounds are silenced.

It's the original stereo. Other bells work (keys in the ignition, door open, etc). Thanks though.
