2006 F150 battery light on after replacing battery and alternator

Battery light stays on after replacing battery and alternator. (Indicating

That exact thing has just happened to me. Good battery, brand new altenator. Battery light still on. Now what?

Same problem with the battery light.before I changed pos cable all guages died, then the engine battery is good .truck runs fine but battery light stays on?

Check the fuses on the passenger side kick panel instead of a voltage regulator idiots making these vehicles especially Ford and Dodge have the computer regulating the charge and from the alternator the current runs through your fuse panel before going to the computer if the fuse is blown your light will come on and the vehicle will not charge do not use a tester you must actually pull the fuses because you will get a reading on both sides of the fuse if it is inserted
