I have a 2006 f150 it will start and drive then I'll get in it later and it just cranks will not start I'll leave it alone for a bit then go back and it will fire does that mean my fuel pump is bad

weak or a fuel filter is a good guess..again i will say run a bottle of ZMAX thru the fuel system also...

Go to the link and read about the Ford FPDM (fuel pump driver module). That is a possible cause. Fuel additives will not help you with any mechanical faults. You could have a bad fuel pump, but more likely is the FPDM is bad. Could be something else also.
