2006 f150 phaser and timing chain replacement, won't it's or switch into gear

Asked by GuruV6291 Sep 13, 2018 at 11:33 AM about the 2006 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCab Styleside 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We replaced the timing chain and phasers with all
new parts double checked the timing to be sure,
still can't get it to idle or stay love while shifting
into gear. Any suggestions?

Clearly you need to double check all your work. You could also check the idle control valve. If this phaser replacement fails, look into a phaser eliminator kit.
