Hi Silverbullet! Some oil in that area is not in and of itself cause for great concern. It depends on the quantity that you are seeing and the condition of the oil. The low mileage bothers me a bit as well. You should probably get a pro to take a look for you and tell you whether there's cause for greater concern. Hope that helps

Sounds like it is time for an intercooler cleaning on that truck, and an oil seperator. If you are mechanically inclined, it is not too difficult, if not take it somewhere to have it done. Where are you located? I might be able to recommend someone to you.

what you are experiencing happens in every single 2nd Gen Lightning ever made. its from your pcv system (the tubes that run from the back left of your upper plenum and the bottom of your inlet tube down to your lower intake etc) it happens under deceleration. the only way to get rid of it is to buy an oil seperator, or set up a pair of breathers. (small filters) her is a how-to page. it might cost like 30 bucks to do http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/how-187/201367-chizs-pcv-delete.html
