Stalling when giving gas from stop?

Asked by Dylan May 04, 2021 at 07:27 PM about the 1990 Ford F-250 2 Dr XLT Lariat Extended Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lately when I'm driving my truck will sputter and
stall out when I give her gas going from a stop.
Shes never done this before and im concerned as
to what could be the cause.

I've replaced a lot of parts but she still seems to
do it either way. Could it be a sensor I've
overlooked? I have checked and replaced many
broken vacuum lines and she is getting proper fuel
pressure.

Replaced:
Fuel pump 4/4/21
Fuel filter 4/4/21
Fuel pressure regulator 4/4/21
Ignition coil 4/3/21
Oil and filter 3/25/21
Spark plugs, wires, cap/rotor 3/12/21
Egr vacuum, egr position, air bypass, and air
diveter solenoids 3/2/21
Eec and fuel pump relays 2/16/21

My thought was to check tps/throttle position sensor. Note the diagram. The dark green wire at tps is signal wire, key on, use digital multimeter, probe the signal wire. closed throttle about .2 volts, wot about 4.8 volts. Move the throttle up and down by hand, see if voltage readings move up and down smoothly? If not, have to check system further. don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. what I posted is just something to check. good luck

I forgot to add the tps to the list of replaced parts. I've also replaced the iac and now im looking into my ignition control module and my pickup coil

So its popped up a new code for a transmission solenoid 4/3. She seems to only act up when the engine or transmission is cold so I'm wondering if this could be my issue?
