What can I do I put gas in my diesel engine

The tank needs to be drained...
And do NOT start engine before you drain tank! Then the fuel rails may have to be purged, filter changed. You could possibly get away without doing that but if it were mine I wouldn't take the chance. How much gas entered the tank?
Move it 3 miles be for I realized what I did
You just might get away with murder. If you drain the gas, the tank, and open the pressure test valve on the fuel rail (looks just like a tire stem) and pressurize the tank and purge all remaining gas out, re-fill with diesel, maybe, just maybe, it will be ok. This happened to a truck where I worked a long time ago, and the engine was not damaged. But only about the same, 3 miles. Then again a backhoe (CAT engine) got filled with gas and the so-called operator couldn't figure out why "Fire was coming out of exhaust and running like s***." That engine was toast, but ran for more that 2 hours. Good Luck ~~David
Do no drive it, empty the tank and listen to what Ford Nut told you and good luck !

Everything above is a crock of shit. Diesel fuel is cut with gasoline for winter usage. DEPENDS HOW MUCH GAS YOU PUT IN ALSO. Full tank? yes, pump it. 1/4 to 1/2 tank....fill with diesel.

And keep filling tank every 100 miles with diesel if possible...idea is to dilute the gasoline within diesel.
