92 Ford F-250 what else should I try?

Asked by Royandjanene Aug 04, 2016 at 06:17 AM about the 1992 Ford F-250 2 Dr STD 4WD Standard Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving down the road and my truck
died.  I have changed the distributor, the
module, the ignition switch, spark plugs,
wires and computer, then put it in a shop.
They told me to come get it they couldn't
figure it out.  Do you have any ideas?

If you have a tilt steering wheel in the steering column have to pull it apart and there is a aluminum bracket in there that your key works for ignition off of if that's broke sometimes it'll shut down while you're going down the road and then start back up

I had the same problem and it was a wire that goes to my fuse block I ran it direct to the battery and it works great now
