1999 F250 Super Duty , 4X4 , 5.3L engine , V-8 We are replacing the EGR (Early Gas Release) valve on our F250
Super Duty. There is a nut on the main part of the valve, that we do not know the size of. I believe it is an inch but
wondered if you have a definite size.

EGR means Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Doesn't it? Or correct me if I am wrong on that engine
Very possible ! All I know is there is a nut on the EGR valve that I need to know the size of. I can call the Ford Dealer tomorrow to find out but thought someone here may have that info . lol
Honest, I was not being sarcastic or anything. I wish I knew the answer
And this fits the 4.6 and 5.4L Ford....
'sokay.....I meant I wish I knew what size that big nut on the steel line was. The ones that hold it on look like maybe 13 mm or 1/2"
DavidH25 The nut on the bottom right of the photo you have there. It has to be an open ended wrench and 21mm is too small.
