P1299 FORD - Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Detected Engine Overheating Condition P1299 Ford Possible causes - Low engine coolant - Faulty Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor - Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted - Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection When is the code is detected The Engine Control Module (ECM) detected an over heat condition- Fail-Safe cooling strategy activated Possible symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) P1299 Ford Description..... Indicates an engine overheat condition was detected by the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor. A Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM) strategy called fail-safe cooling was activated to cool the engine..........>Possible causes p1131...> - Faulty Upstream Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 - Fuel pressure high or low - MAF sensor dirty/defective - Vacuum leak on engine - Leaking fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator - Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Tech notes Though the Oxygen (O2) sensor, the Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected a lean system, which means that there is either not enough fuel or and excessive amount of air in the system. Start by checking for vacuum leaks...........>Possible causes p1132...> - Faulty Upstream Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 - Fuel pressure high or low - MAF sensor dirty/defective - Vacuum leak on engine - Leaking fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator - Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

This po455 code relates to the evap system, I believe if you replace the evap purge solenoid and the upstream 02 sensor, then have the codes cleared, it should be good... Possible causes po455 Ford:> - Missing or loose fuel cap - Incorrect fuel filler cap used - Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close - Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap - EVAP canister or fuel tank leaks - EVAP system hose leaking - Fuel tank leaking Tech notes The P0455 it’s a very common code, because the code is set if the gas cap is loose or missing. Start by tighten the gas cap and clearing the code. In most cases the code can be clear by disconnecting the car battery for about 30 minutes.

So there is a Vapor Canister Purge Valve and a Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid that could cause the evap control system gross leak failure. The upstream 02 sensor can be tested at Auto Zone.
