Temperature gage not rising

Asked by Paulie Apr 30, 2017 at 05:52 PM about the 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL SuperCab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The temperature gage on my dash barely rises when I'm
driving down the freeway,  It will rise a little in town maybe
about a 1/4 of the way... recently did a coolant flush
hoping to alleviate the problem but did not work. What is
the most likely cause of this issue

It sounds like your thermostat is stuck open or missing. It happens as the thermostat gets older or is not put back in from a service. Hope this helps. Mike
