Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 02 Chevy trailblazer lt with the 4.2l 4x4
my trans is winding out to shift from first to
second,  all other shifts are fine just the initial from
first to second. Could this be a solenoid
problem, shift sensor problem or trans itself?

There's no codes on in dash but my odometer quit working also when this problem started.

Betting it's your throttle position sensor. Your problem is one of the symptoms of a bad TPS or a TPS starting to go out. Have it checked out, you need to buy the whole throttle body, as it's not removable from the throttle body on our I6 engine.
