My truck keeps cutting off while driving

Asked by Brittkneeblue Jul 21, 2019 at 08:15 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey my truck keeps cutting off while I’m
driving , or when I come to a complete stop. I
have cleaned out the throttle body. I have
also changed the fuel filter. An neither one of
those have fixed the problem . Not to
mention I have had it hooked up to a code
scanner. An the only things it has said was
bank 1 sensor. An my thermostat. I have put
so much money into this thing. Im about to
throw the whole truck away!!! Will someone
please tell me what’s wrong??? If it’s the fuel
pump or whatever tell me. Bc no one can
seem to give me the right answer an , I’m
spending money for no apparent reason!

Without the proper diagnostics done, very hard to get reliable answers here, as it could be many things. We can only make suggestions. When you cleaned the throttle body, did you do a pcm relearn procedure? To check this, at idle, turn the AC on, does your truck stumble and idle bad with the AC on at idle?
