do u know how fast does the tranny fluid has to come out of the radiator I disconnected the line on the driver side from radiator and started the engine and at first it shoots fast and suddenly it starts flowing out slow is that normal
Ok why did you do that? Is it a 4 X 4 or 2 wheel drive? Transfer case locked up? Like Rob said, linkage? that's my first response and what I'd look at after the fluid level checks fine. Now you may have air in the lines after the disconnect, not to mention fluid loss. Will it go into reverse and is there any sound in the transmission doing this? Does the shifting lever function normally or is there some resistance or complete sloppiness? Is your drive shaft still connected? Sill as it sounds, it can happen.
It is the tcc for the torque converter circuit, my buddy has an 06 trailblazer and that was our fix had the exact same symptoms
I wish the people that get it fixed would send a quick note as what the problem was. My first inclination would be low fluid. Very easy to check and then if low, find out where it went. Next would be of course a tear down. torque converter, or pump gone bad. Rebuild time.
2005 Chev trailblazer. Was going 45 moved it up to 55 put it in cruise control. Engine reaved to 4,500 rpm. Loosed all gears r d 3 2 1. Tranny's got 77, 000.
I just have the same problem. It doesn't go on any gear, not nosy, not symptoms, death at all. It was working fine day before, and then next day, nothing. What is TCC?
Here is the answer from a previous poster...I had the issue and this solved it! "This happened to me today my dad solved it by just turning the key once not turning the engine on and put it in park then switch gears to 1 then back to park and again to 1 then turn it on and switch 4WD should be on and it should work which it did for me"
