Does your car have a sunroof? There could be a problem with the protective rubber around the sunroof that is supposed to wick water away. If not check the seal around the windshield. It could be that water is leaking in via the top of the windshield and coming through your roof.

We had this problem on Kia Sedona there is drain for sunroof that gets clogged with leaves etc that has to be cleaned out

i have the same problem with my 2003 chevy venture, i suspect the tube routing from the washer reservoir in the engine compartment goes down the middle of the ceiling under the roof liner to the back washer nozzle, and if i use it several times a leak pools up and then spills over in the overhead light up front.
