bought a used F350 crew cab with a back seat that says it folds flat. I can pull
the back of the seat over the seat portion and it is flat - is that it? There seems
to be a strap under the seat portion - what is that for?

I looked at it more clearly and figured it out. You pull up the seat portion toward the seat back - there is a metal piece that the strap is attached and it folds down giving you a flat portion that is elevated from the carpet and heavy metal. Not sure what I would use it for - but it is there if I wanted I guess. There are 2 little hooks on the seat when it is raised on the drivers side - for grocery bags? Since when do you come home with two bags of groceries. Would be better if they had a little box that would flip down to place the groceries - but of course - it is designed by men...
