Question type: General
SWAPPED EVERYTHING OUT OF MY 2001 COBRA WITH A 2003 COBRA, THE
WHOLE DRIVE TRAIN FROM COOLERS TO FUEL TANK. THE PROBLEM I'M
HAVING IS CONNECTING THE DRIVE SHAFT TO THE SOLID REAR. THE DRIVE
SHAFT U JOINT IS A 1350 AND THE PINION FLANGE NEEDS A 1310 U JOINT END.
I JUST GOT A 2003 PINION FLANGE AND NEED TO KNOW IF IT WILL FIT ONTO
THE SOLID REAR.

check spline count and ground hub diamiter newer pinion yolks use a flange with a 2 inch piolet wich is cool because you can upgrade ujoints 20 yrs exp with drivelines
thanks. the new flange should let me use a regular 1350 u joint. is there anything else i should know when taking the old pinion flange off.
your length might be diferent to i did a trouch driveline and changed it from a 2 peice to a 1 peice with no problems at all
I BOUGHT THE DRIVE TRAIN THROUGH MPSAUTOSALVAGE IN Georgia. they included a new drive shaft. i called them about the pinion flange, they sent, fit it today. will count the splines. thanks.
if you have any problems with the length or the slip yolk ford makesm about 30 diferent sizes in the c4 yolk make sure seal diamiter is right and yolk goes all the way in you should have an inch and a half sticking out when bolted up
