Escape 06 Hybrid Brake Lights

The rear brake lights on either side to stop working but the brake light on back window works fine. The fuse & bulbs look good.  The taillights work as they should when the headlights are on.  What could cause this?

its an 06. you should be under warranty right? take it to the stealership and have them worry about it
